Why I Started a Vegan Activewear Brand — The Story Behind Namaste Vegan Activewear

There are brands built for profit. And then there are brands built from pain, purpose and an unshakeable belief that the world can be better.

Namaste Vegan Activewear is the second kind.

My name is Legg's Griffano. I am a vegan activist, motivational speaker, survivor and the founder of this brand. And if you are reading this, I want you to know something important: every single piece of clothing in this store carries a piece of me.

Where It Started

I have been through a lot. I will not pretend otherwise. I have seen what abuse looks like up close. I have watched people I love destroy themselves and others. I have lived through things that would have broken most people.

But I am still here. And that is exactly why this brand exists.

Veganism came into my life not as a trend but as a conviction. The moment I truly understood what was happening to animals — the suffering, the cruelty, the complete disregard for life — I could not look away. Because I know what it feels like to be treated as if your pain does not matter. And I was not willing to be part of a system that does that to any living being.

Why Activewear

I have always believed that your body is a temple. That how you move through the world matters. That the choices you make every day — what you eat, what you wear, how you treat others — are all connected.

Activewear made sense because it sits at the intersection of everything I care about. Physical strength. Mental resilience. Compassion. Purpose. Every saying on every piece of clothing comes directly from my own life experience. When I write "Verbal and Physical Abuse Is Not Love" on a hoodie, that is not just a design choice. That is a truth I carry in my body. When I write "Make Healing Popular" I am speaking directly to every person who has ever been afraid to do the inner work.

These are not motivational quotes pulled from the internet. These are messages from someone who has lived them.
